Christmas Morning
Ava was so excited when she opened this Barbie yacht
Jessie, Ava Kate, Jordan, Me & a very sick Krissy on Christmas
Our family had a great Christmas and we got to see family from California, Pennsylvania, and Texas. Our only discontent was Aunt Krissy who was really sick in the hospital with a ruptured appendix. Zach and Ava weren't quite sure what all of this meant but they listened to our conversations and Zach somehow got things a little misconstrued. Chris' mom asked Chris if Krissy was OK and what had happened, Zach interrupted and burst out "her "intentions" exploded grandma!!" We all had a good laugh over that. Krissy got to come home on Christmas but she had to bring the hospital with her, including her PICC line. She was getting IV antibiotics and oral antibiotics. She is still slow and sore but she is getting better.
Chris' sister came in from California. Zach and Ava LOVE to play with their daughter Catherine (she was named after Chris' grandma who just passed away in December). Mike and Lori said that sometime around St. George while driving here Catherine starting chanting Zach, Zach, Zach! She was just as excited to see her cousins too.
Chris got me a much anticipated Garmin that I am so excited about. Now I don't have to rely on my iPhone everywhere I go. And I got him...... wait for it....... a bread maker. For real, no jokes (*sigh*). Chris loves to cook. This is what he kept saying he wanted when my parents or his parents would ask what Chris & I wanted for Christmas. I bought the bread maker in November and I kept having to go back to whomever he told he wanted one to, and make sure that they didn't get us one. He has been throwing together all kinds of bread recipes and tweaking it here and there. I guess I'm going to benefit from this too. He LOVES it so I guess that's all that matters. So random, I know.
Ava loved this Rapunzel castle

Grandma & Grandpa with the Mosaic Zach and Ava gave them for Christmas.
There are over 1500 pictures in the mosaic!
I think this was his MOST favorite Christmas present at the time. He's been begging for one.
Turns out it's not as easy as he thought it would be.
